NORTH PORT, Fla. (WFLA) — A portion of I-75 was shut down after brush fires broke out in Sarasota County.
According to North Port Fire Rescue, the Florida Highway Patrol closed the northbound lanes of I-75 at mile marker 172 near the Kings Highway interchange. However, all lanes are now open.
