NORTHPORT, Fla. (WWSB) – North Port Fire Rescue (NPFR) and North Port Police Department (NPPD) responded to two different fire incidents at mile marker 172 on Interstate-75, near Kings Highway interchange.
A brush fire and a vehicle fire shut down northbound lanes for more than 30 minutes as crews worked to contain the flames.
The northbound lanes have since reopened…
