NORTH PORT, Fla. (WWSB) – Six students were arrested following a violent incident at North Port High School that left one student seriously injured, according to a message sent to families by Principal Ryan Shurley.
Shurley called the incident “serious and unacceptable” and said the investigation is ongoing. He said additional arrests are possible and that the school is implementing “significant disciplinary consequences,” including that several students “will not be returning to North Port High School due to their involvement.”
“Let me be clear: intentional violence towards others will never be tolerated at North Port High School,” Shurley said. “There are no exceptions.”…
