As the Northeast U.S. digs out from a powerful blizzard, flight disruptions are rippling into Florida, including Sarasota‑Bradenton International Airport (SRQ). More than a dozen flights arriving at or departing from SRQ were canceled Tuesday, Feb. 24, according to FlightAware.
Nationwide, the winter storm forced the cancellation of more than 2,000 U.S. flights on Tuesday, with the majority of disruptions concentrated in and around New York, Boston and Philadelphia.
