SARASOTA, Fla. (WWSB) – Residents opposed to the extension of Manasota Beach Road gathered Saturday morning, decorating their cars with ribbons and signs in an effort to get the attention of Sarasota County commissioners.
The $15 million project is supported by Sarasota County government and is being developed by Pat Neal, a former Florida senator and founder of Neal Industries. The project aims to decrease traffic in the area.
