More than 14 years after two men were found shot and killed in a rental duplex in Bradenton, the man accused of killing them has been sentenced to life in prison.
Jamal Lamar Blakely, 31, was convicted of two counts of second-degree murder with a firearm following a jury trial in late February 2026, according to a news release from the office of State Attorney Ed Brodsky of the Twelfth Judicial Circuit.
