BRADENTON, Fla. (WFLA) — Authorities are now offering a $14,500 reward for information leading to the arrest of a suspect in a double shooting that left one man dead in Bradenton.
Maurice McCary, 35, of Bradenton, is believed to have pulled up next to the two victims’ car at a traffic light on March 8 and fired multiple shots into their vehicle, according to the Manatee County Sheriff’s Office.

Deputies found the victims’ car surrounded by shell casings. One of the people in the car, Jamari Murray-Barnes, 27, was pronounced dead at the scene. A second victim, Deryan Lopez, 22, was taken to a hospital and is expected to survive his injuries.
