Convicted Venice Predator Snared In Pinellas Park Sting After Crossing County Lines

PINELLAS PARK, Fla. – A Venice man and convicted sex offender is back behind the bars of a county jail after Pinellas Park police say he traveled across Sarasota County lines to meet a child he met online. Ryan John Tramutola, 41, was taken into custody on March 18 without incident following an investigation into inappropriate internet communications with minors.

Detectives began tracking Tramutola’s digital footprint after receiving tips regarding his online behavior. According to investigators, Tramutola arranged a physical meeting in Pinellas Park with a person he believed to be a 15-year-old child, allegedly intending to commit sexual offenses.

During the probe, authorities discovered that Tramutola was already a wanted man in Pennsylvania. He had an active warrant for tampering with an electronic monitoring device and a parole violation stemming from a previous sexual assault conviction…
