On Thursday, March 19, Bradenton detectives quietly marked a grim milestone – the third anniversary of the killing of 56-year-old Dwight Sutton Sr. Sutton was shot several times around 7 p.m. on March 19, 2023, in front of a home in the 700 block of 17th Street Court East. The case is still unsolved, and investigators say they are not letting it go as neighbors continue to look for answers.

In a recent post on X, the Bradenton Police Department marked the anniversary of Sutton’s killing and said detectives “strongly believe” someone out there knows who is responsible.
