With 64 teams registered, the International Hot Rod Association produced-and-sanctioned St. Petersburg Grand Prix kicked off yesterday with testing for all classes and qualifying for the Pro Class 1 and Factory Stock categories. Beyond that exercise, most of the day’s activity focused on teams setting up for two days of competition, starting this morning at 10 a.m.
