SARASOTA, Fla. (WWSB) – Intercoastal Medical Group Memory Clinic hosted an event highlighting what they call a pioneering treatment for Alzheimer’s disease.
The second annual ‘Day of Hope’ event for Intercoastal Memory Clinic patients and caregivers filled the auditorium at Suncoast Community Church. All seeking community and resources to fight back against Alzheimer’s disease.
Dr. Mauricio Concha, neurologist and director of the Intercoastal Memory Clinic, spoke at the event. He said he has worked with infusion treatments for six years and the results are promising. “We’re beginning to have a better understanding of the disease.
