Traffic was reported to be flowing again on the Longboat Pass bridge Friday morning after a sailboat collided with the span.
Around 10 a.m., Longboat Key fire-rescue and police were sent to the bridge to help manage traffic following the incident. U.S. Coast Guard and Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission boats also responded to the scene.
