SARASOTA COUNTY, Fla. (WWSB) – Sarasota County has installed storm surge markers on local beaches to help residents understand how high water can rise during hurricanes.
The project includes poles at Siesta Key Beach, Manasota Beach, and a third planned for North Jetty Beach this spring.
