A well-known sweet treat spot is opening the first of four Sarasota locations soon.
Carvel, an ice cream chain based in the Northeast and Mid-Atlantic, has been a favorite for northeasterners for geneartions, with the first shop opening its doors in 1934. Now, it will soon welcome guests to its first Sarasota location at 8382 S. Tamiami Trail, bringing the longtime favorite to Suncoast residents.
The shop has completed construction and is expected to open in the coming days after recently passing its restaurant inspection. It’s the first of four Carvel locations franchisee Bobby Enrico plans to open in the Sarasota area over the next four years…
