SARASOTA, Fla. (WWSB) – Worshippers gathered at Five Points Park in downtown Sarasota for a National Day of Prayer event focused on prayer, worship and reflection for America, Florida and the Sarasota region.
Sarasota Prays said the gathering was held as the nation approaches the 250th anniversary of the signing of the United States Declaration of Independence. Organizers said believers across the country were joining in a “historic season of prayer, reflection, and gratitude.”
