SARASOTA, Fla. (WWSB) – The Bradenton woman killed in a wrong-way crash on Interstate 75 in Charlotte County has been identified as 21-year-old Lauryn Marie Akey.
Dennis Lee Olson, 53, was arrested May 17 after the crash, which happened about 1:09 a.m. in the northbound lanes of I-75 near mile marker 149.
Florida Highway Patrol said Olson was driving a black Ford F-150 south in the northbound lanes when the truck sideswiped a white Kia Optima. The truck continued south and then hit a gray Honda CR-V head-on, according to the report…
