SARASOTA, Fla. (WWSB) – A North Port woman is accused of using an elderly Venice woman’s credit card to make nearly $1,000 in unauthorized Amazon purchases while working as her caretaker, according to a Sarasota County probable cause affidavit.
The affidavit names Taylor Leann Blair, 34, as the defendant in the case.
Court documents said a female victim contacted the Sarasota County Sheriff’s Office on Feb. 3, 2025, to report exploitation of the elderly. She told investigators Blair had been hired in 2024 as a caretaker for $25 an hour…
