A Port Authority employee has been charged with getting paid for work he didn’t not perform by falsifying his hours, Hudson County Prosecutor Wayne Mello announced.
Noah Nieves, 53, of Pennsylvania, is charged with theft by deception and tampering with records, both third-degree crimes, Mello said in a statement.
He was arrested at the Hudson County Prosecutor’s Office in Secaucus and released pending his first court appearance.
