FORDHAM, Bronx (PIX11) — An NYPD sergeant, three other officers and a suspect were both hospitalized after a chaotic incident in the Bronx on Father’s Day, according to police.
The FDNY said it received a call for a reported shooting outside 380 East Fordham Rd. between Marion and Decatur Avenues at 6 p.m. Sunday.

Assistant Chief and Commanding Officer of Patrol Borough Bronx North, Aneudy Castillo, said the sergeant and other community response officers had pulled the suspect over to investigate a possibly stolen vehicle in Fordham after “covertly” following the vehicle for over a mile.
