Prosecutor: Jersey City man, 18, wanted for double fatal shooting arrested in NYC

An 18-year-old Jersey City man wanted for a double fatal shooting that occurred in May was arrested in the Bronx on Saturday, Hudson County Prosecutor Wayne Mello announced.

Treshawn Daniels, 18, of Jersey City, is charged with murder, attempted murder, unlawful possession of a weapon, and possession of a weapon for an unlawful purpose, Mello said in a statement.

Daniels was arrested on Washington Avenue in the Bronx on unrelated charges and is awaiting extradition to New Jersey on Saturday, June 20th. This came after the HCPO put out a public appeal to locate him, as HCV first reported.
