In an effort to help preserve New Yorkers’ generational wealth and remain in their homes and communities, the Center for NYC Neighborhoods (CNYCN) launched the Heirs Property Protection Program (HP3), a first-of-its-kind initiative supported by the Wells Fargo Foundation, to help NY residents resolve heirs’ property issues that could lead to displacement.
The HP3 initiative will introduce loan products for heirs’ property owners that are financed through a revolving loan fund, allowing repaid capital to be redeployed to future borrowers.
