A woman was arrested after police say she left an 8-year-old boy unattended inside a parked vehicle in a Long Island shopping center parking lot.
A witness called 911 after spotting the child alone inside a vehicle parked in the lot at 1240 Old Country Rd. in Westbury at approximately 6 p.m. Friday, July 24, according to Nassau County Police.
