Polarizing Mayor Says He’s Vacationing in Upstate NY
Whether you love his politics, hate his politics, or haven’t quite figured out what to make of him yet, many throughout New York are giving Mayor Zohran Mamdani a little credit for showing Upstate New York some love.
Mamdani will be taking his first vacation since becoming mayor, and instead of jetting off to some faraway destination, City Hall says he’ll spend August 16th-23rd vacationing with his family somewhere in Upstate New York. Exactly where? He’s not saying.
Hudson Valley, Saratoga, the ADKS?
Like plenty of New Yorkers escaping The City, perhaps Mamdani will point the car north and head up I-87.
Maybe he’ll stop in the Hudson Valley. Perhaps he’ll keep going and spend a day at Saratoga Race Course. Or maybe the mayor is headed even farther north for some peace and quiet among the lakes, mountains and streams of the Adirondacks…
