NEW YORK CITY (PIX11) — An internal investigation is underway after a man had a medical emergency in a police precinct and died on Friday, according to the NYPD.
The 64-year-old had a medical episode inside the 25th precinct in Harlem around 12:20 p.m. on Friday, authorities said. Police say the officers requested EMS and performed life-saving measures before the man was taken to the hospital in critical condition.

The man was later pronounced dead at the hospital however, his exact cause of death remains under investigation, officials report.
