Mayor Mamdani declares executive orders ahead of 9/11

LOWER MANHATTAN (PIX11) — Ahead of the 25th anniversary of 9/11, Mayor Mamdani is making official declarations to honor the day with service while also announcing a more streamlined way for the city to be prepared for future emergencies.

The mayor is declaring Sept. 11 as a New York City Day of remembrance and service, the first time this declaration has been made at the city level.
