Jason Valarezo was driving a 2026 Volvo VNR tractor-trailer when he drifted out of his lane and struck the rear of a 2020 Freightliner Cascadia semi that was parked on the right shoulder near Exit 1, according to Daily Voice. Emergency crews from New York and Connecticut responded to the scene, where they found Valarezo with fatal injuries, according to Mid Hudson News.
