THE United States Postal Service has confirmed widespread closures of their mail boxes starting this weekend.
In the “interest of safety and security” USPS has said the collection spots will be temporarily sealed or removed.
The iconic blue boxes will be out of action from Saturday, September 12 and reopen on Monday, September 14.
Blocks affected are in New York City, with both sides of 5th Ave between East 59th Street and East 82nd Street shuttered…
