Plane makes emergency landing at major NYC airport: FAA

NEW YORK CITY (PIX11) — A flight was forced to make an emergency landing shortly after takeoff from a New York City airport on Thursday morning, according to the FAA.

Delta Air Lines Flight 791 had to return to John F. Kennedy International Airport shortly before 10:30 a.m. after it had taken off to its destination, Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport, a spokesperson for the FAA said.
