Senior Democratic strategist James Carville unleashed an expletive-filled attack on Rudy Giuliani after the former New York City mayor criticized Mayor Zohran Mamdani for attending September 11 memorial events.

“The biggest a****** of this century is Rudy Giuliani, and he said that Mamdani had no business being at the 25-year commemoration. You’re an a******, Giuliani,” Carville told co-host Al Hunt on their Politicon YouTube channel. “You’re really an a******. There’s no other word to describe him.”
Giuliani — who served as New York City mayor during the September 11, 2001, terror attacks — objected to Mamdani’s planned appearance at the commemoration during an interview with Newsmax.
“Having lost friends there and being very close to many of the families, it offends me that he’s coming,” Giuliani said. He also described Mamdani as “a clear supporter” of Islamic extremists and claimed that “all of the Muslims he supports are murderers.”
It was unclear who Giuliani was specifically referencing. Mamdani has faced criticism over his decision to hire Ramzi Kassem as his chief counsel. Kassem previously served as defense counsel for an al-Qaeda member imprisoned at Guantanamo Bay.
Carville responded by calling Giuliani “a giant mother f****** a******” over his criticism of Mamdani.
