SOUTH BRONX (PIX11) — New York City health officials have expanded outreach efforts to two more ZIP codes in the South Bronx due to Legionnaires’ disease concerns.
The update from the health department detailed that outreach has expanded to include 10455 and 10459 after multiple cases were identified “within a few blocks” of an existing cluster area.

Officials had already been investigating nearly 20 reported cases in parts of Melrose and Morrisania, including two deaths connected to the disease.
