A Secaucus mother was arrested last week for allegedly striking her elementary school-aged child, Police Chief Dennis Miller announced.
On Wednesday, September 16th at approximately 2:46 p.m., Secaucus police officer responded to Huber Street School, 1520 Paterson Plank Road, on a report of a juvenile who showed signs of injury, Miller said in a statement.
The juvenile involved was reported to be struck by a parent. During the investigation, the police arrested a woman, 33, of Secaucus, for endangering the welfare of a child. Her identity is not being released to protect the identity of the child.
