Nearly three dozen missing children have been safely located in a coordinated multi-agency operation in New York City and Long Island. The operation, which involved over 100 individuals from around 40 different agencies and organizations, successfully found 34 children aged between seven and 18, according to Fairsonline.org.
The operation, known as the Long Island Missing Child Rescue Operation, was led by the National Child Protection Task Force in partnership with the New York State Division of Criminal Justice Services Missing Persons Clearinghouse and the Office of Children and Family Services.
