NEW YORK (PIX11) – A Bronx man will spend the next few years behind bars after pleading guilty of straling $25,000 from multiple vicitms in an apartment rental scam, the Manhattan District Attorney announced.
Juan Valoy, 47, pleaded guilty in New York State Supreme Court in July to one count of grand larceny in the third degree, according to court documents.
On Wednesday, Valoy was sentenced to two to four years in a state prison for scamming and exploiting New Yorkers looking for housing.
