Man in critical condition after city bus hit-and-run in the Bronx

NEW YORK (1010 WINS/ WCBS 880) – A 62-year old man was hit by a city bus on Tuesday in the Bronx, according to police.

The victim was crossing East 139th Street and Morris Avenue at around 6: 30 p.m. when he was hit and run over.

The city bus driver did not stop and kept driving, according to officials.

The victim was taken to NYC Health + Hospitals/Lincoln in critical condition and suffered severe trauma to his right leg, police said.

An investigation is ongoing and no arrests have been made.
