Rudy Giuliani Reports Income Near Federal Poverty Level in Bankruptcy Filing

He listed a monthly net income of just $2,308

Former New York City Mayor Rudy Giuliani reported income near the federal poverty level for 2023, according to financial statements filed Friday.

The documents were filed Friday afternoon in the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Southern District of New York.

In a financial affairs statement , Giuliani said he made $18,480 in gross income between Jan. 1, 2023, and Dec. 21, the day he filed for bankruptcy. The federal poverty level for last year was $14,580 for individuals, according to the Department of Health and Human Services .

The personal lawyer for former President Donald Trump also reported a gross income of $200,000 for 2022 and -$55,511 for 2021. He cited income sources from the previous three years as Social Security benefits and distributions from his pension and IRA.

Giuliani listed more than $10.6 million in assets and nearly $153 million in liabilities, and a monthly net income of just $2,308.

In an affidavit , he reported owning a $5.6 million condo in New York, a $3.5 million single-family home in Palm Beach, Florida, and a $25,000 Mercedes-Benz SL500.
