Police are investigating the death of an Essex County man that was found unresponsive and suffering from stab wounds Friday afternoon, authorities said. Michael Castro, 40, was found by Newark police responding to a call on the 100 block of Stone Street around 12:25 p.m. Friday, the Essex County Prosecutor’s Office said in a statement.
