Trio of robbers flash machete at delivery man in the Bronx, steal goods

NEW YORK (1010 WINS/WCBS 880) — Three robbers threatened a delivery man in the Bronx with a machete before stealing his delivery items earlier this month, and the NYPD released photos of the suspects on Sunday.

At about 10:10 p.m. on Jan. 7, police said that a 21-year-old man was making a delivery near 166th Street and Ogden Avenue, in the Highbridge section of the Bronx, when three strangers approached him.

Officials said that the men displayed a machete to the victim and stole his delivery goods.

The suspects fled on foot in an unknown direction, authorities said.

No injuries were reported in relation to this incident.
