The K9 squad caught one suspect under the front porch of a house on Roscoe Court. With a ghost gun, say investigators.
Nassau County 6th Precinct Police arrested an ex-con Saturday on new gun charges in connection with a late night armed robbery attempt inside a house in Greenvale, Long Island.
According to police, two armed burglars broke into the house at the end of Locust Street while the four people who live there slept inside at 12:49 a.m. Saturday morning.
Someone “heard a noise.” Everyone woke up, and they began to search the house.
Two people quickly ran into a man in the kitchen “waving a gun” at them, an Assistant District Attorney told a judge today at the arraignment of Anthony Vasquez, 31, the suspect captured by Robbery Squad and its K-9.
“Give me the money!” the man in the kitchen yelled.
One of the people went to get his gun.
