2 suspects busted in Queens for ‘arsenal of homemade weapons,’ ‘anarchist propaganda’: DA Katz

NEW YORK (1010 WINS/WCBS 880) — Two suspects have been indicted for possessing “an arsenal of homemade weapons” in their Queens apartment, District Attorney Melinda Katz said Sunday.

Katz said that she will hold a press conference with the NYPD on Monday morning to provide further details. She will be joined by NYPD Deputy Commissioner of Intelligence and Counterterrorism Rebecca Weiner and Inspector Courtney Nilan, head of the NYPD’s Field Intelligence Program.

“Weapons and related material, including anarchist propaganda, will be on display,” Katz’s news release read.
