Female Robbery Crew Beats, Robs Teen Girls

MANHATTAN – A pair of teenage girls were beaten and robbed by a group of females on the Lower East Side, the NYPD said.

At around 9 pm on January 18, a 15-year-old girl and a 14-year-old girl were walking in front of 70 Pitt Street on the Lower East Side. Cops said a group of four females ran up to the girls and began wailing on the teens.

The attackers punched the girls in the face and about the head. During the assault, the 15 year old dropped her cellphone. One of the attackers picked up the phone and the group took off.

Cops said the four attackers piled into a nearby blue sedan and drive off.

The victims suffers bumps and bruises to the face but refused medical attention at the scene.

The NYPD released surveillance video of the suspects. One of the attackers has a light complexion and a thin build. The other three suspects have dark complexions and medium builds. Two of the attackers wore hoodies, one red, the other black. One suspect wore a long black coat and a purple du rag. The last suspect wore a black bubble jacket with a gray hoodie underneath. She had a red ribbon in her hair.
