CHARLOTTE ( QUEEN CITY NEWS ) — A wanted New York murderer is known to have ties to Charlotte and possibly South Carolina, according to the FBI.
Mtayari Dixon is wanted for murder in the death of a man on Oct. 26, 2022.

Officials say Dixon allegedly shot the victim after they were involved in an argument in New Rochelle, New York.
It is believed Dixon then boarded a train to Stamford, Connecticut. Investigators say he then may have boarded a bus to Atlanta before heading to Charlotte.
On Nov. 14, 2022, Dixon was charged with murder, and a warrant was issued for his arrest.
The FBI is offering a reward of up to $10,000 for information leading to Dixon’s location and arrest.
