Suspects in Times Square attack on NYPD officers are re-arrested by ICE in Arizona: report

NEW YORK (1010 WINS/WCBS 880) – Several men charged with attacking NYPD officers outside a Times Square migrant shelter were reportedly re-arrested by immigration officers in Arizona on Monday night after they allegedly fled the city and headed west by bus.

The migrant men were arrested at a Phoenix area Greyhound bus station by members of Immigration and Customs Enforcement and Homeland Security Investigations, law enforcement sources told Fox News .

It’s unclear exactly which of the suspects were taken into custody.

Those initially arrested in the attack included Yorman Reveron, 24, of Brooklyn; Darwin Andres Gomez-Izquiel, 19, of Mississippi; Wilson Juarez, 21, of Queens; Kelvin Servita Arocha, 19, of Brooklyn; Yohenry Brito, 24, of Manhattan; and Jhoan Boada, 22, described as unhoused.

According to the report, Reveron, Juarez, Arocha and Gomez-Izquiel are the four men who allegedly fled for California after they were released without bail.

While the men were released, they’d face additional charges if they don’t return to their next scheduled court appearances in the city in a few weeks. Officials have said they were staying in the city’s migrants shelters at the time of the Times Square incident.
