Man steals police radio, other electronics from NYPD vehicle in the Bronx

NEW YORK (1010 WINS) — Police on Wednesday released a photo of a man wanted for stealing a police radio and other electronics from an NYPD vehicle in the Bronx last week.

At approximately 1 p.m. on Thursday, Feb. 1, the suspect entered an unoccupied NYPD vehicle that was parked in front of 157 East 176th St. in Mount Hope.

According to officials, the suspect stole a laptop, a video camera, keys, and a police radio before fleeing on foot in an unknown direction.

There were no injuries reported.

The suspect was last seen wearing a dark colored sweatshirt, blue jeans, and yellow construction boots.
