Brooklyn man, 61, fatally stabbed in the neck: NYPD

WILLIAMSBURG, Brooklyn (PIX11) — A 61-year-old man was fatally stabbed in the neck in Brooklyn early Saturday, police said.

Laurence Hopkins was attacked inside 140 Graham Ave. in Williamsburg at around 1:08 a.m., according to the NYPD. The victim was rushed to the hospital but could not be saved, police said.

It was unclear what prompted the violence.

There have been no arrests and the investigation is ongoing.
