Bronx Subway Shooting – Cops ID 2 Gunmen

BRONX – The NYPD has released photos of the two alleged subway gunmen who killed one man and wounded five others when they opened fire at a Bronx subway station during rush hour yesterday.

The NYPD released new surveillance video which shows the two suspects wanted for the deadly shooting that left a homeless man dead and a group of teens wounded.

One suspect was caught on camera running down the subway platform holding a handgun. He was dressed in a bright purple jacket and purple Du rag.

Cops said at around 4:47 pm on February 12, the men on a Number 4 train got into an argument inside a subway car. When the train stopped at the Mount Eden station and the doors opened the two men opened fire on each other, cops said.

The hail of bullets struck six people mostly teenagers.

Cops said 35-year-old Obed Beltran-Sanchez was fatally struck with a bullet.

Investigators did not give a reason for the deadly argument.
