QUEENS – Three more suspects have been arrested in the assault on a security guard at a Queens mall, the NYPD said. Police have already arrested one member of the crew who was out on no cash bail for attacking police officers in Times Square during the migrant melee.

Police arrested two more suspects in a shoplifting that turned into an assault on a security guard in Queens. One of the suspects lives in the same shelter where two NYPD officers were assaulted by a group of migrants on Times Square.

The NYPD announced the arrest of 21-year-old Gregorio Valera. He gave his address as 220 West 42nd Street – the same location where two NYPD officers were attacked by a group of migrants. He was charged with robbery and petit larceny.

Also arrested was 24-year-old Maiker Garcia of West 112th Street as well as a 16-year-old female. They both were charged with robbery and petit larceny.

At around 3:30 pm yesterday a crew of four people walked into the Macy’s and took merchandise off the rack and placed them in a bag. As the members tried to leave the store without paying, a store security guard stopped the group at the door.
