VIDEO: Woman asked to leave Citipups NYC for allegedly kicking kennels slaps bystander across face on way out

NEW YORK (1010 WINS/WCBS 880) — A woman was asked to leave the Citipups NYC Chelsea location on Friday afternoon for allegedly kicking kennels containing puppies. On her way out, she was caught on video slapping another woman across the face.

“This lady was kicking the puppy kennels extremely hard so we Told her to leave,” the video caption begins, though the alleged kicking was not caught on camera.

“I kind of yelled from across the store, I’m like ‘Hey you can’t do that,’ and then she goes and kicks it again even harder,” Emilio, the store’s manager, told 1010 WINS/WCBS 880.

The video shows the woman attempting to grab the phone from the employee recording, unsuccessfully. He can be heard saying “What is wrong with you, what is wrong with you” as she tries to snatch the device.

She knocks a container of pens off the front desk before walking past a woman in the store and forcefully hitting her across the face. Before exiting the door, the assailant can be seen leaning back inside and spitting toward the woman she assaulted.
