Gang Leader Pleads Guilty to Racketeering and Firearms Charges in Newark

NEWARK, N.J. – In a significant development in the fight against gang violence and drug trafficking, Amir Warden, known by the aliases “Stamps” and “Killa,” a high-ranking member of the Rollin’ 60s Neighborhood Crips, entered a guilty plea to charges of racketeering conspiracy and illegal possession of firearms and ammunition. The plea was entered before U.S. District Judge Susan D. Wigenton on February 22, as announced by U.S. Attorney Philip R. Sellinger.

Warden, 31, admitted his involvement with the Rollin’ 60s, a notorious gang implicated in numerous acts of violence and drug distribution across New Jersey and beyond, from 2015 to September 22, 2022. His leadership role facilitated the gang’s operations, particularly in controlled substance distribution, including a heroin transaction he conducted on August 19, 2019.

The case against Warden also highlighted his illegal possession of firearms and ammunition as a convicted felon. On September 29, 2022, law enforcement discovered Warden with three loaded firearms, three high-capacity drum magazines, and around 1,300 rounds of various ammunition.
