A hardware store serving the Sheepshead Bay community for nearly a century announced its closure.
A line formed around the block at Doody’s Home Center – many say they’ve never gone anywhere else for their hardware needs.
The store has been open since 1925, and Nina, the current owner and manager of Doody’s, says they were forced to shut their doors due to the building being sold.
