The NYPD says a newborn was found dead early Monday morning in the Melrose section of the Bronx.
Authorities say a 911 call led cops to discover an infant unconscious and unresponsive around 4 a.m. Monday on Bergen Avenue. The child was pronounced dead at the scene.
No arrests have been made, and no one is in custody at this time.
